It is interesting that I am in the same place, but things look that much different in my eyes. By now nearly 6 weeks, I have made the same trip to Bern, and at the beginning of bannering in Bern, things were beautiful, people looked elegant, people looked like high level government officers were in my eyes. He was actively listening to my answer, which he asked me and he gave me a clear indication of what I should do and should not do. Life is full of surprises! Today in Bern, I saw a person who I met in front of the “Palais de justice” in Geneva. This is the second time in my life I saw the person who was participating in the event in the square. And one more person with whom we are acquainted. While I was standing on the opposite side of the west wing of the parliament building, I just turned around for a fraction of a second for some reason, and we just spotted each other. I agree with the person who believes in faith.

Today, there was a market in the square. In my eyes, it was one of the most peaceful scenes that a city could offer. This is the beauty of Switzerland that everyone loves to see. The same square where the highest ranked politician in the country often walks on foot -carrying his own bag without any body guard- can be easily seen. In the same place, sometimes tens of heavily armed police forces rush to run in such an attentive way. Big limousines, with national flags on them drive to nearby foreign embassies. These variant of contrasts, on top of that, it clearly demonstrate that this country is for the ordinary citizens. It shows what a democratic, NICE country looks like.

The lawyers who ruin the reputation, democracy of Switzerland should be punished. Some of government organizations who failed to perform the role of “surveillance” of lawyers should be corrected too.

I could not find a solution in canton level so I escalated to the federal level. I am starting this denunciation today in the capital of Switzerland, the “Federal Square (Bundesplatz)” in Bern.

It was raining, it looked like even the weather welcomed me, it was not dry at all.

When I started this denunciation in front of the “Palais de justice” and government building complex 5 weeks ago, I hoped that there might be an interaction from a person from the tribunal or government in order to correct this situation. However, I failed to draw an attention from somebody who has the responsibility of fixing this problem. I failed in all the method, that I could think of, to fix this problem in this canton de Geneva.  

I failed at this moment, but it is not over until it is over.

Back to my position after 4 days of Ester break, I was surprised by the question from someone asking me what I was doing here, already over one month. I was surprised because I assumed that person was uninterested in what I was doing, but in reality, the person had been observing me. Today, the person was paying close attention to my explanation, and on top of that the person was aware of that it has already been one month, in fact today is starting of fifth week.

Someone, although he agreed with my banner, told me that lawyers like mercenaries. It looks like it is true that a lot of people have similar perceptions of lawyers.

On the other hand, I firmly believe there is and must be a clear difference between a lawyer and a mercenary. We can go as far as that “lawyers are ‘hired guns’—agents and advocates beholden first and foremost to their clients’ interests, held in check only by the limits of the law. “

The bottom line is “by the limits of the law”.

Since I was standing in the street, 4th week, today, I came across a person who agreed with my banner and was convincing that the abusive lawyer would be punished as long as I could prove it. That middle-aged man believes that a lawyer should not lie in the tribunal and, if this is not respected, the lawyer should be punished. It looks too obvious, but believe or not it was the first time that I met a person who actually said that.

People say that a lawyer should not lie and agree with my banner. However, in reality, the abusive lawyer would not be punished. I just met a person who is not willing to accept defeat. WOW...!!!

It was a beautiful day with an amazingly fresh blue sky. As I stood on the “rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville”, I was thinking that if there is a city in paradise, it must look like this one, with a bit of the sound of movement, at the same time peaceful but not boring, full of spirit with the excitement brought by groups of tourists or students on excursion, but not busy nor chaotic. This is the entrance of a government office complex, so I guess most of the people working here are public servants or lawyers. If any of them say, “Switzerland is beautiful, isn’t it?”, I have nothing but to absolutely agree.

I am experiencing it. People see me –standing with my banner in front of “Palais de justice”– as they perceive me, all different ways. Some of them see me as a victim in a criminal case, so I am against the judge. Some of them think I am doing this as part of an NGO activity. It looks like one of them saw me belong to a group, which has a small number of members with an odd idea, so kept on asking me a bit obsessively “how many of you belong to this http://www.j26.ch?”.

What I want to say is simple – stated as it is- “Like an ordinary citizen, The lawyer who tells a lie to tribunal must be punished TOO”. Not to the extent that “a good legal role model should conduct himself or herself with honesty, integrity and professionalism.”, but just humble as an ordinary citizen.

It looks to me that many people suffers from the issue with justice, that what is happening in the reality in the contrary to what it appears with good image . On my today’s journey, I met a person who has criminal case against the attacker who is still having good life, without being convicted. This case is still on going 10 years. I wonder why some people were not surprised at all when I was telling about my story. The person definitely believed the state would punish the attacker, it is common sense. I don’t know which is more painful for the victim, the 1st attack, or afterward to deal with the incident. Can we call this afterward thing as 2nd offense? It is hard to tell who is the offender but the victim obviously exists. In my case, 2nd offense is more painful definitely , it is gradually destroying my life.

Nevertheless, the person did not show any anger, hate. Thousand Respect !!! I really wish to grow old with that kind of dignity. Every morning I set out on my journey in front of the cathedral, I will prey to grow old with dignity like that person, not to become a monster, I have fear to become a monster. At home we have old saying “Close to black ink you get black, close to red ink you get red.

Standing in the street gives me an opportunity to meet people who tell me their own interesting stories. Today, I met a so innocent looking young person who was in jail for 2months as a result of participating environmental demonstration/occupation. As you might know in Switzerland it is not such a common thing to be sentenced “prison ferme”, mostly get fines. It seems that the real reason for the sentence was the person had refused to present own ID, so the judge got upset about it very much.
